5 Incredible hidden Messages
Updated: Mar 26
Our early ancestors carried interesting names. Not only were they unique, but they were descriptive and meaningful. This denotes mankind as intelligent from the onset, and that spoken language was simply not an evolutionary byproduct of guttural grunts. As we peer through the lens of history, we are confronted with something rather extraordinary, the names given also convey a prophetic message.
Were these ancestorial names merely coincidental or was there a divine message from the Creator, encoded in their names?
MESSAGE 1: METHUSELAH [מְתוּשֶׁ֔לַח]
At 969 years of age, Methuselah was the OLDEST man to have ever lived. An age that can be taken literally due to the purity of the human genome, and the pristine conditions of the earth prior to the flood.
Genesis 5:27 Altogether, Methuselah lived a total of 969 years, and then he died
969 YEARS OLD
On examination of the meaning of Methuselah's name, it can be seen that the extension of Methuselah's life was an act of mercy, to provide even more time for people to repent and avoid judgment. But unfortunately, only 8 chose to believe GOD, and were therefore saved.
Ezekiel 33:11 'As surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked should turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! For why should you die...?'
Meaning of Methuselah מְתוּשֶׁ֔לַח ;
muth [ מְתוּ ] = “death”
shalach [ שלח ], = “to bring,” or “to send forth.”
Thus, the name Methuselah means; “his death shall bring.” or "after he dies it will be sent"
And, when Methuselah died, the GLOBAL FLOOD came.
MESSAGE 2: THE FLOOD
From the names of Noah and his kids, and Lamech and his kids. The generation affected by the Flood.
there, opened, hot, powerful, flowing, streams of water, a constructed item (ark) carried (life), pleasant, rest.
SHEM = there
JAPHETH = opened
HAM = hot
LAMECH = powerful
Genesis 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on the seventeenth day of the second month—on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened.
TUBAL-CAIN = constructed item carried
NAAMAH = pleasant
NOAH = rest
Genesis 7:23 Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; people and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.
From the genealogy of Cain and Seth as recorded in Genesis 4:17-22 and in Genesis 5:3-32. Cain's descendants are placed in the left column, and Seth's children on the right. The family lines are then divided into two groups of seven.
In the table, it can be observed that "Enoch" appears twice. One is a son of Cain, the other a son of Jared. The reason for our interest is because, one Enoch obtained immortality and the other did not.
Incidentally, this is the oldest recorded account of an individual being named after a family member, a common practice still remaining to this day.
The name Enoch means to "teach" or "to educate", and it does make us ponder if he did become a teacher later on in life?
Cain's son; Enoch, suffered the fate of mortals.
Genesis 4:17 …Cain was then building a city, and he named it after his son Enoch.
Jared's son; obtained the desire of mortals, immortality.
Genesis 5:18 When Jared had lived 162 years, he became the father of Enoch.
Genesis 5:24 Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.
And with that established, here are the messages that were contained in the antediluvian Genealogy. From the TORAH (old Testament), written 3,500 years ago.

Psalms 39:4-8 “LORD, how long will I live? When will I die? Tell me how soon my life will end.” How short you have made my life! In your sight my lifetime seems nothing. Indeed every living being is no more than a puff of wind, no more than a shadow. All we do is for nothing; we gather wealth, but don't know who will get it. What, then, can I hope for, Lord? I put my hope in you. Save me from all my sins,...
Psalms 79:9 "Help us, God our Savior, for the glory of your Name; deliver us and forgive our sins for your Name's sake."

Isaiah 53:4-6 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Isaiah 53:10-11 Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied ; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.
Hosea 13:14 I will deliver this people from the power of the grave;
Where, O death, are your plagues?
Where, O grave, is your destruction?

Psalms 86:13 I will praise you, Lord my GOD, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever. For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths, from the realm of the dead.
John 3:16 For GOD so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him, will not perish but have everlasting life.
EVIDENCES OF DESIGN
As aptly concluded by researcher "Chuck Missler", the discoverer of the 5th message;
"The implications of these messages are far more deeply significant than may be evident at first glance. It demonstrates that in the earliest chapters of the Book of Genesis, God had already laid out His plan of redemption for the predicament of mankind. It is the beginning of a love story, ultimately written in blood on a wooden cross which was erected in Judea almost 2,000 years ago"
"This is also one of many evidences that the Bible is an integrated message system, the product of supernatural engineering. This punctures the presumptions of many who view the Bible as a record of an evolving cultural tradition, noble though it may be. The Bible claims to be authored by the One who alone knows the end from the beginning"
Many of the original meanings of these Antediluvian (pre-flood) names were lost to history. Though, an examination of the Hebraic root words and the context in which the names were given, can help one reconstruct meanings of the original Name. The translations used in this blog were sourced from many resources including the "Strong's Hebrew Concordance" and the "Abarim Publications' Biblical Dictionary".
TUBAL-CAIN. [ תובל־קין ]
When this name is separated into the root words, we obtain the following;
CAIN [ קין ] (qyn)
noun [ קן ] (qen) = nest
verb [ קנן ] (qinnen) = make a nest.
verb [ קין ] (qyn), = fit together, fabricate or forge (metal things)
TUBAL [ תובל ]
verb [ יבל ] (yabal), = to carry, bring along, flowing along
The following meaning can therefore be deduced;
(an assembled item, that carries something over water) ARK
